Using every axis our KUKA has

One of the most challenging and rewarding projects that I have done in the robotics lab at the UT Austin School of architecture is complex 6-axis machining. Im this project, I used the CAM software SPRUTCAM to generat toolpaths to machine a Maltese Falcon statuette. This was by far the highest-larning curve CAM software that I have used so far, and it took a lot of trial and error to get all the machining operations dialed in correctly.
